DR. MAYS’ WEEK AHEAD An Update from Superintendent Dr. Anthony Mays

August 19, 2024
Dr. Mays

Last week was filled with excitement as our students reentered our buildings with hope and optimism about their year. I interviewed several students and teachers who shared what they are most excited about as we go into this year. I can't help but share their excitement as we eagerly anticipate the 2024-2025 school year. Below are a few things I am looking forward to this year.

  • I can't wait to enter the classrooms and witness our students fully engaged in their learning. These moments pave the way for their bright future, and I'm excited to participate.

  • I am excited about attending sporting and fine arts events and watching our students compete and perform at a high level.

  • I am excited about attending Alief Proud and our Taste of Alief events and seeing our campuses and diversity celebrated.

Thank you all for all that you do to make this year exciting for our students and community. I look forward to a great school year!
