We are thrilled to announce a generous $25,000 donation from Sigma Gamma Rho to the Alief ISD Steven Lloyd Ness Natatorium! Their support is making waves in our community, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for investing in our students' future!
Victory Okoroji - National Champion in Program of Oral Interpretation and Final Round Bowl Winner! Her program of literature is about culture, forgiveness, and healing. She won because she touched the hearts of people from all backgrounds, generations, and walks of life.
We are elated to debut the district's pilot Performing and Visual Arts Academy which will be housed at Rees Elementary School! Our kindergarten through fourth-grade students will have the opportunity to take part in a rich curriculum that includes dance, theatre, music, art, health/tech, and PE.

Grateful beyond words to the Kendra Scott Foundation, Yellow Library, and First Book for their incredible donation of 5,000 books to Best Elementary. Their generosity is planting the seeds of knowledge and imagination in our students, helping them build brighter futures. In addition, Sneed Elementary was surprised with a back to school gift for their whole staff.

Alief Proud Online Spirit Store is BACK!!
The Alief High School TAFE Clubs (Texas Association of Future Educators) created spirit shirts to “SPLATTER” our Alief pride all over the community! We’re also going “RETRO” with another design to remind us all how long Alief has been around! Make sure to get your gear to support our district wide Alief Spirit Tuesdays. Since we’re always ALIEF PROUD, we kept our 3rd embroidery design for elevated looks that can be worn throughout the week. The ONLINE store will close on August 16.
