Fall is upon us, and the weather is beginning to cool. The cool evening provided excellent weather for our Elsik versus Hastings football game. It was a good feeling to look out and see our stands full on both sides. The competition was high as our students battled one another. We were also able to pay homage to our Military and First Responders who we sincerely appreciate, as well as be fortunate enough to receive $20,000 in heart screening equipment [ECG machines] donated by The Community Volunteer Fire Department.
Despite the craziness of internet trolls disrupting our learning environment, I am grateful for a professional staff that works to remain focused, meet the needs of our students, and keep the main thing the main thing.
We will continue to work to ensure our campuses are safe with enhanced security measures that provide a secure environment for our students and teachers. I continue to urge everyone, if you "See Something, Say Something". Report any suspicious activity witnessed either on social media or in the community.
